Inspiration
❁⚘✹༄
There are many places, objects, people, and indescribable experiences that I find inspirational. I’ve tried, and failed a lot. I've traveled to get away and I've stayed in the same place until I've learned the lesson.
I've met lots of interesting people- laughed, cried, and loved with them. I’ve been in the mossiest of forests, on the sunniest of mountain sides, and stood in front of the most beautiful of ocean views. I’ve witnessed births and deaths. I’ve seen people light up right before my very eyes, just by me being my true honest self, and accepting them for exactly who they are.
I’ve had so many experiences that have allowed me to reach deep into myself, to pull out the jewels my soul has to offer.
Mostly, I try to be aware of what my own soul is saying- that voice that speaks to me from deep within. It happens most often in nature, where my feet are bare, my mind is clear, and I am free.
I find inspiration in the flowers that bloom- and the way the clouds form before it storms. The way the mountain peaks kiss the sky, and offer grand views of the wonders below. I receive inspiration from the way the wind blows around me on a rather still day, the smell of the air before it starts to rain, and the bird songs I feel are personally sung for me. Inspiration is everywhere, all around me, all the time.
There is inspiration in the words spoken to me, and the words I read. I strive to listen to those words that fill me up with light, love, lessons, and laughter- words that comfort me, build me up, and help me to believe who I am, and what I do are important. I try to find inspiration all around me, even in the mundaneness, and even when there is so much unknown in this world, I try to find strength in the beauty that surrounds me.
Creating helps me to take the things life has to offer- and somehow form a treasure to describe how it all makes me feel. Each bead, each knot, each gemstone, and each precious moment spent creating are all so important to the process of figuring out myself and how to share it with everyone.

“Study nature, love nature, stay close to nature. It will never fail you.” – Frank Lloyd Wright
“When you do something noble and beautiful and nobody noticed, do not be sad. For the sun every morning is a beautiful spectacle and yet most of the audience still sleeps.” – John Lennon
“A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feeling as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.”
― Albert Einstein
“The clearest way into the universe is through a forest wilderness.”
– John Muir
“We all have a thirst for wonder. It’s a deeply human quality. Science and religion are both bound up with it. What I’m saying is, you don’t have to make stories up, you don’t have to exaggerate. There’s wonder and awe enough in the real world. Nature’s a lot better at inventing wonders than we are.” — Carl Sagan
